ACTIVITY:
What kind of teacher would you like after you graduate? Why?
            After I graduate, I would like to be a teacher using modern strategy as shown in picture 1, because I believe that using modern tools as a medium of teaching and learning are essential nowadays, as technology is all around us and only continues to expand in its many uses. Using modern strategies are more efficient and highly effective than the traditional strategies. Although many people like to rely on traditional methods of teaching, the possibilities that open when technology is brought into the classroom are endless. 

ANALYSIS:
1. What do we mean by ICT?
● Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) refers to all communication technologies, including the internet, wireless networks, cell phones, computers, software, middleware, video-conferencing, social networking, and other media applications and services which can impact student learning when teachers are digitally literate and understand how to integrate it into curriculum. 

2. What are the seven domain of ICT Competency Standard?
Domain 1: Understand ICT in Education
Domain 2: Curriculum and assessment
Domain 3: Pedagogy
Domain 4: Technology tools
Domain 5: Organization and Administration
Domain 6: Teacher Professional Learning
Domain 7: Teacher Disposition

3. What do we mean by ISTE?
● The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is the foremost organization in teaching technology in the classroom. It has quality standards for how to use and approach technology in class. These standards are ultra-high technology education benchmarks for both learners and teachers. 

4. What are the six ICT competency standard for teacher based on ISTE?
Standard 1: Technology Operation and Concepts
Standard 2: Planning and Designing Learning Environment and Experience
Standard 3: Teaching, Learning and Curriculum
Standard 4: Assessment and Evaluation
Standard 5: Productivity and Professional Practice
Standard 6: Social, Ethical, Legal and Human Issue

6. What are the advantages of a teacher who follows the ICT competency standard?
● The advantages of a teacher who follows the ICT competency standard includes:
- Teacher technical ability and knowledge of ICTs.
- Effective professional development.
- Mastery and development of teachers' ICT related skills.
- ICTs motivate (some) teachers. ICTs can be an important motivation tool to promote and enable teacher professional development.

7. What do we mean by digital citizenship?
● It means having a deep understanding of the digital age’s underlying social, ethical, and legal issues as well as understanding the rights and responsibilities that go along with using modern technology. ISTE standards require every student to be a good digital citizen that act as role models for healthy, safe, and responsible behavior online.

8. Can you perform a digital type of instructional materials?
● Yes, there are many technological tools to use so we can perform a digital type of instructional materials like making online outputs and videos.

9. What are the advantages of a digital technology?
● It is easily accessible, the study material can be easily accessed on any gadget compatible with the software.
● Encourages individual learning and it provides great opportunities for making learning more effective for everyone with different needs.
● Distance learning. Technology aid the teacher to connect to their students even from a great geographical distance.
● Benefits for teachers. With countless online resources, technology can help improve teaching. It provides enormous support to the teacher as the facilitator of learning, it has modernized the teaching-learning environment,  it  opens new fields in educational researches, it  adds to the competence of teachers and inculcates scientific outlook and lastly, it supports teacher professional development.
● Benefits for students. It enhance learners’ communication skills through social interactions, and  it upgrades learners’ higher-order-thinking skill: critical thinking, problem solving and creativity

10.Based on ISTE national educational technology standard for students. Stated that students must be creativity and innovation. What do you mean by creativity and innovation?
● This standard will produce students who demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, develop innovative products and process using technology from existing knowledge.

● Email/Messenger
